About Minion Level
The Minion Level begins with Scratch Jr, where children learn to program their own interactive stories and games using visual, block-based coding. As they build their projects, they develop essential skills such as sequencing, logical thinking, creativity, and basic problem-solving. By the end of Scratch Jr, students will have a solid understanding of how to create animations and simple games, helping them gain confidence in expressing their ideas through code.
They then progress to Hopscotch, which introduces more advanced coding concepts such as loops, conditionals, and variables, all within a kid-friendly interface. Here, children can build more complex games and interactive projects, further strengthening their critical thinking, creativity, and computational thinking. Hopscotch also encourages experimentation and innovation, laying the groundwork for more advanced coding in the future.
Put simply, Scratch Jr is a simplified version of Scratch, specifically designed for young children aged 7 and below.
